Breakfast @ Jeans Grill

I went yesterday morning for a breakfast buffet at Jeans Grill upstairs in Sultan Center, since i have been craving for one of those fancy breakfast buffets for ages now. After being a frequent reader at the Omani Cuisine, i couldn't help myself but take a picture of the lovely food XD. The buffets in Jeans Grill have never disappointed me, they're always awesome, specially for their price (I'm definitely going for iftar there sometime). The breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs, spring rolls, baked beans, french toast, pancakes, sambosa, Spanish omelet, falafel, mini hot dogs, 7aloom cheese, etc. They also had a type of soup that i didn't try, along with four types of salads and various veggies. As for desert items, they had cupcakes, donuts, fruits and fruit salads, they also had orange juice and Tang strawberry juice. The best thing i enjoyed over there was the guy who makes you a custom omelet, it tasted pretty good. It was a normal fried omelet, filled with cheese and some veggies. Eating it flaming hot right out of the pan was just great!

Hmm, i would say the service was kind of average since there was only one waiter doing everything when i went there at 8.50 am, and he was barely catching up with everyones' side orders and requests. I must say that sitting by the window and looking at the view outside was pretty nice as well. A breakfast buffet at Jeans Grill costs 2.5 rials per person, and from my experience, i would say that its completely worth it. And just for the note, after stuffing myself with this breakfast, i couldn't eat anything else for the rest of the day. We always go out for major fancy lunches or dinners quite often, so going out for this rather big breakfast was a pretty new and pleasant experience.

Great review!

I love Jean's grill breakfast. I need to have falafel and Lebneh at least once a week, or I start to feel really sad. Stone and the kids can eat pancakes, fried eggs, and they sometimes even have beef bacon.
